*From the airport, guests arrive at Relais Parco Cavalonga in Ragusa.
*Mid-afternoon, sample Sicilian wines and snacks poolside with other guests, trip hosts and your Chef.
*In the evening, explore the grounds, take a dip in the pool and watch chefs prepare a farm-to-table meal from a kitchen stool.
*Rise bright and early to visit the Basque-influenced city of Modica, incluidng a tour of Sicilys oldest chocolate factory, owned by the Bonajuto family.
*Lunch at Gazza Ladra, where Chef Accursio Capraro will prepare local specialties like spaghetti with cream of anchovies and bruschetta with seafood salad.
*In the afternoon with Peppe Barone we will visit a frantoio of Monti Iblei DOP Sicilian Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a typical settlement of ancient Modica in order to see how to prepare the "impanatigghi", a pastry with chocolate and beef meat.
*Head to Peppe Barones outstanding restaurant for a wonderful cooking demonstration.
*Tour the cheese ripening caves in Ragusano, where Caciocavallo is made followed by a master class in fresh and aged cheeses.
*Explore the ancient town of Ragusa Ibla.
*Lunch at the Michelin-starred Locanda Don Serafino, housed in the cellar of a baroque palace.
* Tour the Pinuccio wine cellars and recieve a Tasting and Tutorial of Sicilys best wines: Milleunanotte di Donnafugata, Santa Cecilia di Planeta, Harmonium di Firriato, and Don Enrico di Salaparuta.
*After lunch, take a guided tour of the Castle of Donnafugata and Montalbano's house, or visit the shops within the city.
* Hands on Cooking class with a famous local chef.
*Morning Free time or a walking tour of Relais Parco Cavalongas private nature reserve.
*Leave for Agrigento.
*Lunch midway at Pino Cuttaia in Madia, famous for pine cone smoked cod.
*Check into La Foresteria Planeta Estate in Menfi, one of the biggest and best known Sicilian wine estates.
*Herb seminar conducted by Planeta Chef Angelo Pumilia.
*Dinner on the estate overlooking the vineyards and the sea.
*Visit the Ulmo vineyards for an walking educational wine tour.
*Lunch in the Ulmo Vineyards Celler, featuring rich Noto Valley wines and local specialties
*After, wander through the ancient olive groves and castle ruins near the sea.
*Afternoon Master Class and tasting of Sicilys award-winning Nocellara del Belice olive oil.
*Return to the guesthouse for an aperitivo, hands-on cooking class and dinner in traditional baronial style prepared by chef Angelo Pumilia.
*Depart for Nebrodi.
*Stop in the seaside town of Cefalu. A quick visit for a taste of the mornings catch of tuna.
*Check into the Antica Filanda Inn, home to Sicilys best restaurant.
*Lunch followed by a seafood master class from Chef Nunzio Campisi.
*Tour the wine cellers and dine under the stars.
*Visit Paesanella - a delicatessen famous for products like black pig and Nebrodi cheese.
*Take a guided hike to see native black pigs foraging in the wild.
*Lunch at a near by mountain cottage with local products, including fresh ricotta and Salami di Sant'Angelo.
*Free time to explore.
*Hands-on pork seminar, led by local expert Nunzio Campisi. Pitch in to help prepare a dinner of oven-baked baby black pig with herbs and raisins.
*Rise early and hit the farmers market. Go into town for last minute shopping.
